The young student of Cbtis24 from Ciudad Victoria, Izamary Medina Martínez, was found alive in Guatemala, who had been reported missing since March.
According to the version given by the authorities, the 15-year-old adolescent was located in Santa Catarina Pinula, in the neighboring country, where she had presumably arrived voluntarily with a young man.
The Cbtis24 student from Ciudad Victoria, was reported missing since March 17, so the Amber alert was issued to find her location, as her family filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office.
However, after the investigations it was speculated that the girl could be in Guatemala, so the Specialized Prosecutor for the Investigation of Crimes of Forced Disappearance of Persons, launched the mechanisms established for the search for children and adolescents, Alba Alert Protocol -Keneth, with the support of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic and the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation of Guatemala,
The Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office indicated that there was coordination with the Guatemalan authorities, so this Thursday they were able to locate the girl, who is in perfect health.
“It should be noted that the necessary steps are being taken so that the minor can be repatriated and handed over to her family in Ciudad Victoria,” said the Tamaulipas Prosecutor’s Office.
