The new edition expands the faculties involved: in addition to Engineering, Economics, Literature, Philosophy and Languages, undergraduates and recent graduates in Mathematics, Physics, Law, Political Science and Psychology will also be able to enroll in the program.
94 young people participated in the 2023 edition of Generation4Universities, while 22 companies took part in the project as partners and provided over 150 hours of individual mentorship. To date, 65% of Generation graduates have started their professional careers, while the others, mainly recent graduates or close to graduation, are carrying out discussions with companies.
Extending the period considered, Generation Italy started in Italy in 2018 and is part of the international non-profit organization Generation, founded in 2014 by the international management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company to help reduce unemployment in the world. With the partners who support the foundation, Generation has offered free training courses to around 7,000 boys and girls in 27 Italian cities. Since the beginning of its activities, 83% of Generation students have been hired, approximately 30 days after the end of training.
