Friday was theDragon Quest Day”the anniversary of the famous license of Square Enix who was celebrating his 36 years. For the occasion, the creator of the saga, Yuji Horii made the trip to the attraction Dragon Quest Island and recorded a message for fans. The opportunity to remember that Dragon Quest XII : The Flames of Fate is still in development but other games are (almost) close to release. Yuji Horii promises many Dragon Quest titles in 2022. If the master did not give more details, he recalled that Dragon Quest X celebrated its tenth anniversary this year and that the development of its “chibi” and offline version (see details HERE) was well advanced. Ditto for the spin off Dragon Quest Treasures dont a new teaser was released immediately after (see LA). Thanks to all our fans, the attraction is celebrating its first anniversary. I am really happy that so many of you came to participate. And to anyone thinking of making the trip, you will be warmly welcomed to Awaji Island, the place where I grew up. It’s a great place to visit, even on a rainy day like today.
Today is May 27, also known as Dragon Quest Day. And this year is the 36th anniversary of the series Dragon Quest . We couldn’t have come this far without the support of our fans. I’m extremely grateful.
In 2022, it will also be the 10th anniversary of the launch of Dragon Quest X. We have lots of plans to mark the occasion in the works, so I hope you’re all looking forward to celebrating with us.
