Brussels (ots/PRNewswire) – Yutong Bus (“Yutong”, SHA: 600066), a leading global electric bus manufacturer, made a splash at the recent Busworld Europe 2023 event in Brussels, showcasing four state-of-the-art electric bus models along with its latest YEA technology. Yutong underlines its commitment to environmental sustainability and is also honored with the prestigious Busworld Design and Ecology Award.
Yutong exhibited four models: the Double-decker sightseeing bus U11DDthe 18 meter long U18 large capacity busthe Mini-Electrobus E7S and the luxurious 15 meter long T15E. Notably, the Yutongs T15E model is the only pure electric road bus to win an award at the show, confirming the company’s leadership in electric mobility innovation.
The event’s theme, “Think green, move green,” is closely related to Yutong’s portfolio and the company’s environmental ambitions.
- The 15 meter long luxurious, purely electric coach T15E is characterized by its efficient permanent magnet synchronous motor and the latest generation battery management system (BMS) and offers a long range, plenty of space and safe handling. The vehicle has an impressive range of 550 km, making it ideal for long-distance journeys.
- The large electric bus U18 achieves an unprecedented maximum passenger capacity of 120. With up to 563 kWh battery capacity, the U18 provides a range of over 500 km under SORT 2. A robust monitoring platform continuously collects data about vehicle operation and road conditions, provides early warnings and makes the bus smart and safe.
- There E7SeV Mini-Electrobus is aimed at meeting the emerging demand for “last-distance trips” in major European cities. This model focuses on public transport feeder routes and can carry up to 30 passengers with a turning radius of less than 8.5 m and remains in various road conditions the city flexible and convenient.
- The U11DD, an extremely durable double-decker bus with a seating capacity that can be expanded to 70 berths, is an ideal sustainable vehicle for public transport with an efficient energy consumption of only 0.7 kWh/km.
The company also used the event to showcase Yutong’s latest technology platform YEA to introduce robust and scalable solutions for electric vehicles. Within Yutong’s dedicated components area, a variety of pure electric components, including batteries, motors and intelligent cockpits, were introduced to highlight the company’s comprehensive capabilities across the new energy bus industrial chain.
