A ZAGG launched today the Pro Stylus 2positioning it as a strong competitor of the Apple Pencil. This second generation of the pen combines features already known to iPad users with some innovations.

The main differential of the Pro Stylus 2 is the support for magnetic charging of iPads (mini, Air and Pro). In this way, users can connect it to the side of the tablet, both to recharge the battery and to store it in a practical way.

In addition, the pen supports Qi wireless charging. This means that you can reload the stylus in any cradle that supports this standard. According to ZAGG, a full charge guarantees 6.5 hours of use.

Although it does not offer the pressure sensitivity present in the Apple Pencil, the pen has tilt detection and is compatible with the same apps that support the Apple device. As a differential, the opposite end of the Pro Stylus 2 has a capacitive tip, suitable for iPhone screens.

ZAGG’s Pro Stylus 2 is compatible with any iPad model released following 2018. In terms of design, the company innovated, offering the Pro Stylus 2 in five colors: white, black, blue, pink and yellow.

with price of US$80 (around R$400), the Pro Stylus 2 is considerably more affordable than the second generation Apple Pencil, sold for $130 (BRL 1,515 in Brazil). The product can be purchased on the official website of ZAGG e on Amazon US; there is no information if the device will be launched in Brazil.
