Hello Sandrine, this week will be under the influence of the anticyclone which will continue to swell. Wednesday and Thursday will be a little more unstable over the southeast with a few localized thunderstorms. From Friday, the easterly flow will completely dry the air mass, which will cause the mercury to rise with locally 29-30°C. However, it is not excluded that a stormy passage will affect the west of the country at the end of the day. From Saturday afternoon and especially Sunday, we are expecting a further rise in the pressure field, accentuating on Sunday. The conditions will therefore be very pleasant for your barbecue with 26 to 28°C and beautiful clearings. The rest of the program looks favorable with a peak level of heat which would be expected from Monday/Tuesday and the possibility of exceeding 30°C again.
And on the rest of the country?
The last potential stormy passage will go towards the Netherlands and Germany with, in the background, again calm weather thanks to the strengthening of an anticyclone in the North Sea. It will drive an increasingly dry north-easterly flow with at most cirrus and more numerous clouds over Limburg and north of the Ardennes (one last drop at dawn). Then, a few cumulus clouds will sprout in the interior of Flanders as far as Hainaut but also in the south, without consequences. These may cause a very localized shower on the relief but this will remain quite timid due to a lack of dynamism. The hot air will continue to progress but we will tolerate it well thanks to the moderate north-easterly wind, especially at sea despite the sun!
