The answer is no. Indeed, the guide tells us that there are once again 900 Korogus in The Legend of Zelda : Tears of The Kingdom who always gives the same nuts to increase the capacity of his satchel.
In detail, there are still some differences… In reality, there are fewer hidden Korogus. There are now “only” 800 to flush out across Hyrule on the Surface and in the Sky (but not the Deep) but there are 100 more to help. These are the famous tired Korogus travelers who must be brought back to their camp. If the 800 Korogus hidden always give one nut, the 100 that must be helped give two. So, on arrival, there are 1000 Korogus nuts to get if you want to play the game 100%. Note, however, that only 421 nuts are useful for getting the maximum slots for his weapons, bows, and shields. But what do we gain by obtaining the 1000 nuts?
In the previous game, find the 900 Korogus allowed to receive a somewhat special reward which confirmed the doubts of many players about the reality (and the origin) of these small nuts which ultimately were simply droppings. As a reminder, Noïa handed over to the reckless player, for the price of his efforts, a super nut golden poop ! At the time, this surprising smelly reward had been variously appreciated by players, some finding it unworthy of the challenge and the time invested in the quest.
Was it cynicism or a way to tell players that this whole quest was just… shit? The director of the game, the discreet Hidemaro Fujibayashi had explained at the time that it was above all a gag…And, you have to admit, it was kind of funny. We can easily imagine the headaches of the first players who discovered it for themselves… With hindsight, we can say that it was perfectly in line with the game that pushed us to play for the fun to play, much more than to get rewards;
So in The Legend of Zelda : Tears of The Kingdom, is the reward for the Korogus quest the same? As much to warn you, the answer is yes. Once you have flushed out and aided the 900 Korogus, and harvested the 1000 nuts, Noïa will give you her most beautiful nut golden poop. Surely that’s what we call, a nutty reward
