According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the law on Lend-Lease arms supplies to Kyiv signed by the head of the White House Joe Biden is a historic moment.
“I want to thank Biden and the American people for supporting Ukraine in the fight for our freedom and future. The signing of the Lend-Lease law is a historic step,” Zelensky tweeted.
Recall that this law expands the powers of the US President in matters of concluding agreements with the Ukrainian government on the provision of temporary use of American military equipment and property. Biden himself said that this law is a costly step for the United States, but it is an important help for Ukraine.
