Zelensky does not understand why the allies do not give weapons to Ukraine (VIDEO)

Ukraine has already developed a plan for a new counter-offensive. “Yes, we have a counteroffensive plan. We will definitely win. We have no alternative. But I cannot name the date (of the counteroffensive),” Zelensky told the German Bild.

More statements by the President of Ukraine:

-On possible negotiations: “Here we are dealing with Putin. Everything he said so far, after that he acted differently. We cannot trust him. We can agree on everything, but the question is whether he will abide by this.”

-Of course, some will be happy. The world will say: “Yes, we managed to freeze the conflict, the missiles are not flying.” But this is only until the Russian Federation increases production and reserves of military equipment, missiles, UAVs and analyzes all the mistakes that it made at the beginning.

-Putin, of course, wanted to capture Kharkov, because for him it is a big symbol. We are doing everything possible to prevent this from happening.

-Our partners have certain weapons that we need today to survive. I just don’t understand why we don’t get these weapons.

Meanwhile, Russia has changed its attack tactics on Ukrainian energy facilities, using precision-guided missiles to destroy power plants in areas less defended than Kyiv. Ukrainian officials say some of them will not be able to be restored by next winter and suggest preparing for a cold test.
“It is clear that Russia’s goal now is to cause permanent, irreparable damage,” writes the FT.

Russia struck seven thermal power plants, all of them in regions other than Kyiv, with its powerful air defense system. Russian missiles also hit two hydroelectric power plants. Ukraine did not provide details on the extent of damage at each station, but officials said some, including in the Kharkiv region near the Russian border, were almost completely destroyed. “Our goal is to restore as much as possible by October,” the publication quotes the head of DTEK, Maxim Timchenko.

The group lost about 80 percent of its electricity production as a result of Russian attacks in late March and early April, and five DTEK thermal power plants were forced to shut down operations. “The Russians are trying to cut off power supplies to large industrial regions and cities,” echoes Ukrenergo representative Maria Tsaturyan. A number of experts believe that attacks are being carried out on the energy systems of Kharkov, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye in order to force residents to leave these cities in order to facilitate the assault by the Russian military.
