President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has deprived 13 priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) of Ukrainian citizenship. This is reported by the Ukrainian edition LB.ua.

“We are talking about the suspension by the President of Ukraine of the citizenship of 13 representatives of the UOC,” the article says, citing the sources of the publication. It says that the list may include Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchinsky and Bratslav, who came to the attention of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on suspicion of treason. Among other things, it turned out that the metropolitan owns a Russian passport, the publication noted.

Formerly SBU detained the priest UOC-MP, which, according to the department, is accused of saying that the photos from Bucha with civilians allegedly shot by Russian troops are staged. UOC faced with persecution and violence against her on Ukrainian territory.
