Just over three months following the start of the war in Ukraine, Russian businessmen escaping economic and financial sanctions have opened more than a thousand companies in Serbia, at an average of more than ten a day, mostly in the field of the new technologies.

This was reported by the Serbian Monitor portal, which cites the Business Registration Agency (Apr), according to which between February 24 and May 31, the Russians have opened a total of 1,017 commercial entities in Serbia, among 87 companies. and 730 commercial activities.

The data, the portal specifies, show that wholesale trade is in second place, followed by consulting activities linked to business and information technology, and by agencies, restaurants, among other sectors.
