Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he wants to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke about this.
The day before, Erdogan separately called up Putin and Zelensky.
“Just yesterday, during the negotiations, Zelensky expressed a desire to meet with Putin. Turkey continues its aspirations [по урегулированию]”, – the Anadolu agency reports the words of Cavusoglu.
Earlier it was reported that Erdogan proposed to hold a meeting between the delegations of Russia, Ukraine and the UN in Istanbul.
