An unknown man tried to rob an Avia gas station shop at Regensbergstrasse 307 in Zurich district 11 on Sunday afternoon, according to the Zurich city police. He is said to have entered the store shortly before 2 p.m., threatened the employee with a gun and demanded money.
What the perpetrator probably did not expect: the gas station employee refused to hand it over. The armed man then fled on foot without taking anything in the direction of Kügeliloostrasse. No one was injured in the attempted robbery.
