updated28. May 2022, 22:35

There will be a police operation at Zurich Airport on Saturday evening. A bus driver is said to have been beaten by a group of men.

A bus driver was apparently attacked by a group of young men at Zurich Airport shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday. As a news scout reports, he had just come out of the airport building when the attack happened: “The group attacked the bus driver. A young man was particularly aggressive.”

The chauffeur finally fell to the ground and was then insulted by the man in question. “When passers-by intervened, the group left and went into the airport building,” the news scout continued. Police and ambulances are now on site. Police officers would have positioned themselves at the entrance to the airport building.

Another news scout observed late in the evening how three young men were arrested by several police officers at the airport station. It is still unclear whether there is a connection to the attack on the bus driver.

The Zurich cantonal police confirmed an operation at the airport. At the request of 20 minutes, she announced that she wanted to provide detailed information on Sunday.
