At 11:33 on the day of the disaster, the gunman Ramos crossed the school fence and entered the classroom hallway.

A gunman rushes into the classroom and opens fire with a rifle, and a student hastily hides.

Several police officers arrived at the school at 11:36 a.m. It was only three minutes after the shooting started, but they only stand in the hallway.

19 minutes after the shooting, additional heavily armed police with bulletproof vests and shields arrive, but they also do not enter the classroom.

Meanwhile, gunshots rang out again in the classroom, and at 12:50, 77 minutes after the shooting started and 74 minutes after arriving at the school, the police finally broke the classroom door and killed Ramos.

Earlier, the Texas police authorities defined the response of the on-site police as a ‘disastrous failure’ and officially admitted the mistake.

The victims’ families and residents, who have criticized the police’s incompetent response, were outraged when the video was released.

However, the police chief who was at the scene said he did not know he was the on-site commander, and insisted that he did not save the body, saying that he only misjudged the shooting as a hostage play.
