Russia launched Kalibr missiles into Ukraine at night

The Caliber missiles launched by Russia at Ukraine from the Black Sea were supplemented by at least two missiles that entered Ukrainian airspace from the north in the Sumy region. They were reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

Monitoring channels reported the launch of ballistic missiles from Crimea. Reports of explosions came, in particular, from the area of ​​the village of Dobrotvor in the Lviv region, where the thermal power plant is located, from the Kyiv region, and from Kremenchug in the Poltava region.

In the morning, Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko announced that that night Russian missiles and drones attacked energy facilities in six regions.

“Again a massive attack on our energy sector! Electricity generation and transmission facilities in Poltava, Kirovograd, Zaporozhye, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia regions were attacked,” the Ukrainian press quotes Galushchenko’s statement.

During the raid, among the places from which reports of rocket attacks, suicide bombers and explosions came, were, in particular, the village of Dobrotvor in the Lviv region and the city of Ladyzhyn in the Vinnitsa region, where thermal power plants are located.

The head of the administration of the Poltava region, Philip Pronin, wrote in a telegram that in the Poltava region, a drone hit a certain energy infrastructure facility, which resulted in a fire there.

According to preliminary information available to Pronin, there were no casualties.

The head of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, Ivan Fedorov, succinctly wrote in his telegram channel that in his region, the targets of the attacks were energy facilities and critical infrastructure, and that there was destruction, but no casualties.

The head of the Kyiv city military administration, Sergei Popko, reported that all the missiles and drones flying towards the capital were shot down.
