[국제]’Miracle in the ruins’ Syrian newborn baby adopted by aunt

A newborn baby from Syria, who was found with an umbilical cord attached to a mother who died during the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on the 6th, was adopted by her aunt.

The baby’s aunt and wife told Archyde.com on the 18th that they had finally completed the adoption through DNA testing and legal procedures, and decided to name the baby ‘Afraa’ like her mother.

They said they would raise Afra well with their baby, who was born three days after the earthquake.

When Ara was found in a pile of rubble, she had bruises all over her body and difficulty breathing, but was taken to the hospital where she received treatment and recovered.

At the time, the medical team gave it the name ‘Aya’, which means miracle or divine revelation in Arabic.

As the news of ‘Aya’, whose entire family, including her mother, died in an earthquake and became an orphan came out, inquiries from all over the world asking for adoption were flooded.
