The UN says the number of civilians killed in Ukraine in the Russian invasion has crossed 950 in about a month.
UN Secretary-General Guterres has called for an immediate halt to this meaningless war, saying the soaring energy and food prices in the aftermath of the war are leading to a global hunger.

The UN Human Rights Office said that as of 00:00 on the 22nd, at least 953 civilians, including 78 children, had been killed in Ukraine.
During the same period, the number of civilians injured was 1,557, including 105 children.
However, the Human Rights Office estimated the actual number of casualties to be much higher.
According to the UN Refugee Agency, about 3.56 million people have fled the country from Ukraine.
Including domestic refugees, it is estimated that 10 million Ukrainians have fled their homes and homes.
About 2.11 million Ukrainian refugees who crossed the border, more than half, have fled to Poland.
The World Health Organization, WHO’s Polish office, said that 500,000 refugees need mental health assistance, and 30,000 of them are in particularly serious condition.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres held a press conference calling for an end to the war, saying, “Now is the time to stop fighting and give peace.”

Secretary-General Guterres feared that food, energy and fertilizer prices skyrocketed in the aftermath of the war, leading to global hunger, and that developing countries suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic are suffering even more.
He called for an immediate halt to the Russian invasion, saying that it had become an absurd war that was unacceptable in any aspect of theft, political or military.
