[스포츠타임] “I like sashimi”… Gutang, who is obsessed with Korea, “It’s a blessing to go to LG”

[스포티비뉴스=이천, 이민재 기자 / 이강유, 임창만 영상 기자] The challenge of Justin Gutang (Changwon LG) has begun.

Gutang, a Filipino player who joined Changwon LG as an Asian Quarter, has excellent athletic ability and activity. He is valued as a resource that can help Lee Jae-do, Lee Kwan-hee, Lee Seung-woo, and others to move around my suburbs.

Gu-tang, who chose to go to Korea, showed his determination to run with a desperate heart as he had a precious opportunity.

“I think the decision to come to Korea was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This is my first time coming to Korea. Being able to go abroad is a blessing and an honor for me.”

Gutang started with Korean food to quickly adapt to Korean culture.

“The first thing I did when I came to Korea was to try Korean food. I tried yuk sashimi and it was really delicious.”

Now I have to adapt to KBL. Gutang explained that there is a big difference between Filipino basketball and Korean basketball.

“I think the style of basketball in the Philippines and Korea is different. Korea is a little more structured and quicker. And players in all positions can shoot well.”

Gutang showed his will to help the team with his unique energetic play.

“I want to describe my play style in one word as ‘full of energy’. I always play hard on the court. I try to instill a lot of energy in my teammates.”

“If there is a role the manager wants, I will do anything. I have a plan to play various roles in the team.”
