A star the size of Neptune but denser than steel has been discovered by an international team of astronomers. This exceptional density could be the result of massive planetary collisions. Impact simulation.

The planet TOI-1853b presents a masse almost twice that of any other known planet of similar size. Her density high suggests a predominantly rocky composition.
