When welcoming them to the capital of Morelos, the municipal president of Cuernavaca expressed that although they know that public health in Mexico is greatly delayed and that investment and training for people is needed from the federal, state and municipal government areas, It is also necessary to intersperse government actions with the wisdom and skills of doctors, from what they learn daily to save lives or improve the quality of life of people now from the moment someone is gestated in the womb until they are born. and throughout his entire life.

Accompanied by the deputy president of the Health Commission in the State Congress, he said that having this meeting in Cuernavaca speaks of the qualities it has to hold events of this nature and receive people from different states and countries to present their knowledge, also offering a showcase of devices that serve health with cutting-edge technology that governments can acquire to provide services to the population.

For his part, the general director of the IMUMR, Dr. Romel Flores Virgilio, explained that, according to data from the INEGI, last year there were 25 thousand fetal deaths in the country, of which 80 percent died within their mother, 15 percent at birth and five percent after birth, attending in these cases to the obstetric emergency, solving the mother’s problem, but losing the baby that in certain cases at birth to a mother with long suffering of its pregnancy can lead to different diseases.
