A 15-year-old teenager was arrested on Friday around 9:15 p.m. by police from the Boraine zone while driving a large engine and under the influence, said the Boraine police zone.
The police had spotted a car traveling at a speed of around 200 km/h in an urban area in Hornu. The vehicle was intercepted. The driver, aged 15 and therefore without a license, was under the influence of cannabis. Another 15-year-old boy was in the car.
The young driver will have to answer for driving without a license, excessive speed and driving under the influence of drugs.
