An 8-year-old boy from Zizhong County, Sichuan Province in mainland China disappeared 29 years ago. His family later found a ransom note on their doorstep. “Chengdu Business Daily” reported that on February 28, 1995, the 8-year-old son of a villager named Wu from Songjia Town, Zizhong County disappeared after school. In March this year, Zhan Nan fled to his distant uncle’s home in Longhui Town, Weiyuan County because he missed his family. Until the police appeared in front of him, he knew that “the debt owed must be repaid one day.” According to the police, the two suspects were husband and wife. They knew the victim’s family before the incident and both worked in a calcium phosphate factory in a town in Weiyuan County.
