$300 coin? It exists and can cost 10 million pesos

Diego Andariego, a youtuber who is dedicated to the search for curious and interesting topics for Colombians, visited the Casa de la Moneda in April 2021.

His idea of visiting it was to demystify the existence of a $1,500 coin that circulated in the country and that very few were able to discover.

But it was not so easy to find it, because the youtuber had to go through this museum a lot until he found two copies of them, and several of $2,000 and up to $300.

These coins are made of gold and the reason for its manufacture was the commemoration of the Pan American Games and the fiftieth anniversary of the Bank of the Republic, of which 50,000 copies were removed, with collectors in mind.

The $300 coin is currently trading on Ebay for up to 10 million pesos.
