4 Arab stock exchanges recorded mixed gains at the end of trading today, Sunday, at the beginning of the week’s trading, supported by the positive movement on the leading stocks and the improvement in the performance of the banking sectors’ indices, while the Egyptian and Muscat markets declined under the pressure of intensive selling operations.

Jordan

The Jordanian Stock Exchange rose, on Sunday, to reach its highest level since 2010, supported by the purchase of most of the leading stocks such as the Arab Bank, amid good liquidity.

The general index closed up 2.11% to 2528.18 points, while the trading value amounted to 15.2 million dinars (21.4 million dollars), compared to 11.5 million in the previous session. The petroleum refinery share rose 7.05% to 6.07 dinars, and the Jordan Electricity share rose 7.38% to 1.6 dinars, The Arab Potash share increased 2.37% to 42.79 dinars, and the Arab Bank share 7.22% to 5.2 dinars.

Kuwait

The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed its trading today with the general market index rising by 59.3 points, to reach the level of 7467.92 points, an increase of 0.80%.

The volume of traded shares amounted to 191.8 million shares, through 10,234 cash transactions, worth 53.8 million dinars.

The main market index decreased by 3.17 points, to reach the level of 5677.55 points, a decrease of 0.06%, through the circulation of 99.7 million shares through 4343 monetary transactions, worth 9.7 million dinars. The First Market Index rose by 1.04%, or 85.5 points, to end its trading at 8328.72 points, as 92 million shares were traded as a result of 5891 transactions worth 44.16 million dinars.

Diameter

Today, the general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded an increase of 80.94 points, or 0.66%, to reach 12,272.24 points. The volume of trading during today’s session amounted to 101 million and 459 thousand and 187 shares, with a value of 235 million and 553 thousand and 625,380 riyals, as a result of executing 6860 deals in all sectors, and the shares of 29 companies rose in the session, while the prices of 15 companies decreased.

Manama

The Bahrain General Index closed today at 1865.79 points, an increase of 26.16 points from the previous closing rate. The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 668.53 points, an increase of 0.77 points from its previous closing rate. The volume of traded shares reached 936,973 shares, with a total value of 311 thousand. And 207 Bahraini dinars, which were implemented through 50 deals.

Egypt

The stock market indices recorded a collective decline at the close of trading today, and the market capitalization of the shares of companies listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange amounted to about 608.4 billion pounds, amid total transactions amounting to about 5.1 billion pounds..

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” fellBy 2.35% to end trading at the level of 9008.89 points. The “EGX70” index decreased by 1.27%, recording 1699.42 points. The broader “EGX 100” index lost about 1.56% to close at 2507.97 points.

Muscat

The Muscat Stock Exchange (30) index closed today at 4108.67 points, down by 13.9 points, or 0.34%, compared to the last trading session, which amounted to 4,122.56 points, and the trading value amounted to 3 million and 27 thousand and 600 Omani riyals, down by 8.8% compared to The last trading session, which amounted to 3 million, 320 thousand and 876 Omani riyals.
