3- Pleuritis
Pleurisy affects the rib cage and lung tissue. It is a thin tissue lining the chest wall and lungs, which leads to severe pain. The pain is usually severe and causes the patient to want to rub the area. It can be treated with antibiotics.
4- fibromyalgia
It is a chronic medical condition that affects the muscles and causes symptoms: burning, throbbing, stabbing, or soreness. The rate of pain in the rib cage is very large and may spread to multiple parts of the body.

5- Pulmonary embolism

6- Lung cancer
Lung cancer causes pain in the rib cage, which worsens with deep breathing, coughing, or movement. Other associated symptoms include: coughing up blood or phlegm, shortness of breath, or wheezing. Fortunately, people who are infected early in their illness can recover.
