7100 light-years away from Earth: NASA publishes a stunning image of the Bubble Nebula

published NASA agency Recently another photo of their recent discovery – the cosmic bubble wrap – Bubble Nebula. Photo was taken by Hubble telescope NASA astronaut. The cosmic bubble envelope is located 7100 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia. The Bubble Nebula is one of the most popular star bubbles.

The amazing view of the cosmic bubble is about 4 million years old and will become a supernova in 10-20 million years. Alongside the photo, NASA wrote a caption saying, “At 7100 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia, lies the Bubble Nebula – a nebula seven light-years wide – and a star 45 times larger than our star.”
“The gas on the star becomes so hot that it escapes into space at 4 million miles per hour (6.4 million kilometers per hour). When the hot stellar winds meet the coolness of the surrounding space, they bend and form an outer edge.”

Dense plumes of cold hydrogen gas and space dust can be seen in the upper left and center of the image. The image depicts this nebula in visible light and its bright colors: hydrogen is green, oxygen is blue, and nitrogen is red.

While describing the image, NASA wrote, “At the top left of the image, yellow and gold clouds turn green as they meet the blackness of space. In the center, a blue-green bubble pops up with a bright pink star with yellow clouds adjacent to it.”
