Smoking:

Smoking damages the lungs and irritates the throat. It can make your cold symptoms worse, so quit smoking, and stay away from secondhand smoke.

– Stress:

The hormone your body releases when you’re stressed weakens your immune system and increases inflammation, making a stuffy nose worse, so take a break to relax.
