81-year-old woman found dead next to caravan

A macabre discovery was made this Monday afternoon at the Liefoord campsite in Coxyde, in Flanders. The body of an 81-year-old woman was found dead next to a trailer. According to information from the Nieuwsblad, it was a suspicious death.

The deceased woman was tied to a trailer when she was found. It was a visitor to the campsite who discovered the horror while walking around there. Emergency services were called, but it was already too late. The victim was deceased. “The public prosecutor’s office can confirm that an investigation is underway into the suspicious death of a woman at a campsite in Koksijde,” said the prosecutor for the King of West Flanders.
