971 more people have become free of covid in Saudi

Riyadh: 971 more people have recovered from the Covid-19 treatment in Saudi Arabia. 625 people were newly diagnosed with the disease. One death was reported. The total number of cases reported in the country so far stands at 7,95,811. The total number of recoveries rose to 7,77,925.

The total death toll is 9,209. 8,677 patients are undergoing treatment. 148 of them are in critical condition. They are staying in intensive care units in hospitals in different parts of the country. 19,934 RT-PCR tests were conducted in 24 hours. Riyadh 216, Jeddah 96, Dammam 58, Hufoof 30, Madinah 22, Makkah 22, Abah 16, Dhahran 13, Twaif 12, Al Khobar 11 are new covid in different parts of the country. Cases reported.

Eid holiday announced for private sector in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Eid al-Adha holiday has been announced for the private sector in Saudi Arabia. The holiday has been announced for four days from July 8 (Friday 9th of Dhul Haj, the day of Arafah) to July 11. The working day will resume on July 12.

With the sighting of the Dhul Hajj moonrise in Saudi Arabia, it is confirmed that the Feast of Sacrifice is on July 9. The day of Arafah, the main event of Hajj, will be on July 8. The moonrise was seen at Thumair, Saudi Arabia.

The last month of the Hijri calendar, Dhul Qa’d, ends today (June – 29) and the month of Dhul Hajj begins tomorrow (June – 30). The festival of sacrifice is celebrated on the 10th of the Arabic month of Dhul Hajj.

Banks in Saudi Arabia had earlier announced the holidays for Eid al-Adha. The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) on Monday announced holidays for banks, their branches, related offices and money exchange centers. The Eid holidays will begin with banks closing on July 6. The holiday will be till July 12. After the holiday, the work will resume on the 13th.
