The Portal of Nations needs to be scaled down
The pavilion project intended to inform the general public about the UN institutions no longer entered into the budget.
The banker and philanthropist Ivan Pictet, who has greatly contributed to the influence of international Geneva, has been dreaming about it for nearly fifteen years. His idea? Build a new place of reception and information on the UN, aimed at the general public, in order to highlight the benefits of multilateralism and the role of international Geneva.
