Ram Charan is not only an actor. He is also involved in many philanthropic activities. Ram Charan received this year’s True Legend – Future of Young India Award. The Rangasthalam actor received the True Legend-Future of Young India Award for his contribution to cinema and society.
The actor has been working as part of blood bank activities for the past few years. Accepting the award, Ram Charan said that while he was on the board of the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank and took over many of its functions, it was the brainchild of his father, megastar Chiranjeevi.
Ram Charan said that when he was going to make his first film in 2007, his father advised him to take care of his support staff more than his producers and directors, always emphasizing humanitarian values and instilling those qualities in him.
He said that in 1999, despite advances in medicine and technology, his very close relative lost his life during a surgery due to lack of timely blood supply, which prompted his father to start the noble initiative.
Chiranjeevi started a blood bank and appealed to his adoring fans to donate blood. His father further promoted it by announcing to his fans that for every unit of blood donated, he would get a free photo with him.

Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan helped more than 75,000 filmmakers during the lockdown induced by the Covid pandemic. Ram Charan added about the healthy friendship he shared with his father. SS Rajamouli came to Ram Charan’s house to narrate the script of Magadheera, and the director insisted that Chiranjeevi also listen to it. Ram Charan fondly recalled how his father listened to the script very carefully while he was acting in the film.
Ram Charan is next seen in a film with Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, Maitri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
Mega power star Ram Charan, who scored a blockbuster hit with RRR, is currently starring in Shankar’s new big budget film. The name of this film, which is being prepared as a pan-Indian film, has not been revealed by the makers.
