Retail trade no longer attracts the new generation of employees
The latest Credit Suisse study shows a growing shortage situation for the entire industry. Despite this, working conditions are not improving according to the Unia union.
Tuesday, January 3, 2023, on the site of JobUp.ch, Coop has 2,709 vacancies of all kinds there. For the retail trade as a whole, across the country, the number increases to 5,554 vacancies. And with each passing month, the situation is deteriorating according to the latest Credit Suisse study devoted to this branch of the economy which provides work – directly or indirectly – to more than half a million Swiss.
