A 20-year-old Belgian tourist was raped in a beach club bathroom in Italy. Two suspects have been arrested, indicate our colleagues from HLN.
“They pushed me against the wall and kept my mouth shut to stop me from screaming. My head was spinning, I couldn’t breathe,” said the young victim.
The despicable act was committed at a beach club in the coastal town of Gallipoli. The girl went to the bathroom with a friend, but when the latter entered a cabin, she had to wait alone. Two young men passed by: “We hadn’t spoken to each other, but I had already noticed that they were watching us. One of them overpowered me and pushed me into the toilet,” testifies the victim.
The nightmare lasted twenty minutes for the young woman. She eventually managed to free herself and return to her group of friends, where she recounted, in tears, the horror she had just experienced. The police rushed to the scene and arrested the duo: Luigi Capasso, 26, and Giulio Pantanelli, 19, who were intoxicated. They both claimed that their victim was consenting, but the medical reports tell a different story.
