Het Laatste Nieuws reports that firefighters in the Westhoek area, alerted by visitors to Plopsaland Park, went to the parking lot to free a dog who was suffocating in the heat.
After trying to reach the owner of the car, the firefighters decided to open the trunk, which was fortunately open, in order to save the Saint Bernard.
When the owner of the animal finally arrived, she assured that she “came to see the dog every hour”.
The police drew up a report against the unconscious.
