A famous model disfigured after plastic surgery: My pain is unbearable

The tragedy of the famous Canadian model Linda Evangelista, who was isolated for 5 years after a deformity inflicted on her body by a famous cosmetic treatment, did not stop, but her grief developed to the announcement that she no longer recognized her body.

Evangelista, 56, spoke about what she called the state of “hiding and shame” that she experienced after she developed disfiguring tumors on her body, caused by the CoolSculpting method, a fat-freezing treatment used by those who do not want to undergo a surgical procedure to remove the accumulated fat in the body.

She can no longer bear her pain

And via Instagram, Evangelista explained that she is now afraid to meet her acquaintances, stressing that she can no longer bear the daily tragedy and pain she is experiencing.

She expressed that she had become afraid of open spaces, and that she still did not look in the mirror and did not want to leave her home.

50 million dollars in compensation

The supermodel announced last September that she had filed a $50 million lawsuit against the cosmetic company, saying she was unable to work due to complications from seven sessions she underwent in 2015.

She confirmed that the treatment developed hard, swollen and painful lumps under her skin in the areas of her stomach, hands, back, chest, buttocks and chin.

She also explained that she underwent two liposuction procedures, but they were unable to repair the deformities.

While the accused company refused to comment, stressing that the cases are ongoing, and that its products are studied by more than 100 scientific publications and more than 11 million treatments have been performed worldwide.

However, Linda replied that she has permanent bumps that may not go away, and all she knows is that she does not want to hide anymore, and that she will expose everything she has been through.
