Nine settlers were wounded, in a heroic shooting attack, which took place at dawn on Sunday, near the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, specifically near the so-called “Western Wall”.

There is talk of shooting at a bus carrying a group of settlers, in addition to shooting at a vehicle and pedestrians in the vicinity of Ma’ale Hashalom Street.
And the bomber managed to withdraw from the area, amid a heavy pursuit by Zionist forces that stormed the Silwan neighborhood, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is believed to have arrived from the port and returned to it after the operation.
The Palestinian resistance factions have blessed the operation, considering that it comes in the context of a natural response to the aggression of the occupation, especially the recent massacres it committed in Gaza and Nablus.

Hamas spokesman for the city of Jerusalem, Muhammad Hamadeh, confirmed that the heroic shooting operation in Jerusalem came in response to the crimes of the occupation in Gaza and Nablus.
Hamada said that this process reflects the true picture of the reality of the Palestinian people, who adhere to the choice of resistance and are loyal to the will of the martyrs, led by Ibrahim al-Nabulsi.
He added that the time and place of the operation was a strong message to respond to the aggression of the occupation in Jerusalem, noting that the operation destroyed all bets of the occupation on stopping the extension of operations with the so-called “wavebreaker” operation.
He stressed that the resistance is still burning, and the rebellious youth in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza are ready to resist this occupation.
Hamadeh indicated that the operation deals a major blow to all those who bet and practice security coordination with the occupation.
He also pointed out that “our people are persisting in their resistance and struggle against the occupier, with all means and methods that surprise the occupation, and will continue to resist the occupation until its demise.”
Islamic Jihad: The Jerusalem operation confirms that the occupation will not feel safe as long as the resistance continues
Islamic Jihad spokesman for the West Bank, Tariq Ezzedine, said that the Jerusalem operation comes in the context of continuing resistance to the occupation in the unity of the squares against this occupier.
“The operation comes to confirm that the occupation has no place on our land and will not feel safe as long as the resistance continues,” he added.
He considered that the location of the operation in the heart of occupied Jerusalem has a great indication that it will remain Islamic, Arab, and Palestinian, and all attempts at Judaization, confiscations and criminality against us, its people, will not change the reality of its Palestinianness.
The Popular Front: The operation confirms that the resistance of our people continues in all forms and throughout the occupied territory
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praised the Jerusalem operation, saying that it “reaffirms once again that the resistance of our people continues in all forms and throughout the occupied Palestinian land.”
“The operation came as a natural response from our people to the escalating crimes of the occupation, starting from Gaza and Nablus, passing through the rest of the Palestinian cities and camps,” she added.
