RIYADH > Saudi Air Carrier Flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, has recorded impressive performance and growth in the first half of 2022. 2021EE increased from 26 aircraft to 38 aircraft. This is an increase of 46%. The number of passengers increased to about 4 million.
“Flynas” flies to 16 international destinations from four Saudi cities – Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Qasim. Flynas has successfully participated in the resumption of flights for the journey of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims from different countries of the world in the country’s recovery from Covid-19 –
Notably, Flynas received the highest rating in an assessment conducted by APEX, an organization that is one of the largest international airline associations comprising 600 airlines of various categories worldwide. Flynas has reached the four star category, the highest economy aviation category in the world. It has been ranked the Middle East’s lowest-cost airline by the World Travel Awards for seven consecutive years, and won the Skytrax Global Award for Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021.
