A man illegally staying was intercepted on Friday at Cora de Rocourt after trying to steal shoes. He then threatened the guard who intervened.

A 31-year-old illegal resident was arrested late Friday afternoon at Cora de Rocourt. He was attempting to leave the Nike store with stolen shoes and other merchandise when a security guard intervened. Rather than comply, the thug pulled out a knife and used it to threaten the guard and thus try to ensure his escape. In vain. Referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office, an arrest warrant was requested against him, the individual being already known to the courts, and even convicted, for other identical facts.
