EA last week presented the work of her studio Koei Tecmo, giving players a glimpse of a new hunting game that vaguely resembles Capcom’s similar titles.
However, this was not enough for the players, so today the developers showed a new video, the whole plot of which is that the hero hunts a giant boar. Again and again.
As with the Monster Hunter series, the centerpiece of Wild Hearts is the huge creatures and how the character hunts them down. Along the way, the hero creates new weapons and armor, becoming stronger and stronger with each hunt.
As the battle continues, we get a good look at the hero’s Karakuri, the magical devices used in combat. Basically, it’s a transforming weapon that can transform into anything from giant propellers to big bombs.
Along the way, our protégé seeks to rid the lands of Azuma from these beasts, which carry with them a kind of curse that has destroyed the balance in the world. The trailer released last week gave some idea of what it looks like, but the new video shows as much as seven minutes of gameplay.
Soon we will touch the world of Wild Hearts ourselves, because the game is released on February 17, 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
