If we analyze, methacrylate produces hypercalcemia and that leads to the formation of kidney stones that can end in this kidney failure and in dialysis”, he explained and continued: “A person who is on dialysis is a vulnerable person, he has some more delicate situations than any other, therefore she is more sensitive to infections, she has a circulating bacteria and her transplant cannot be carried out until her body is in perfect condition”.
“The best scenario would be to get to the transplant. But she has to be in good condition, at this moment I don’t know her perfect medical situation, I don’t know the exact reason, that’s why I can’t speak from that point of view. But getting to the transplant would be the best scenario for her, ”he explained.
“The deterioration is the product of her underlying disease… she received corticosteroids, if you look at her, you have an image of a patient who received corticosteroids and the corticosteroids lower the defenses and cause deterioration. If we add dialysis to this, which is a treatment that has its advantages, but also its problems… it wears out your body, ”she points out.
“The kidney problem makes her a vulnerable person, which predisposes her to greater problems such as this infection. Her current situation, in intensive care, sedated and on a respirator, I do not know the medical reason, I cannot comment on it, but she is in a delicate situation, ”he closed.
