Al-Marsad newspaper: The match between Baniyas and Al-Wahda, in the 15th round of the ADNOC Professional League, witnessed a funny incident, on Thursday evening.
In the 30th minute of the match, Baniyas player Mohammed Al Zaabi received a yellow card, after a strong intervention by his younger brother Tahnoun Al Zaabi, who knocked the latter to the ground.
After the yellow card, Tahnoun objected to the match referee’s decision, demanding that his brother be expelled from the field.
Al Wahda won a difficult 1-0 victory over its host Bani Yas, scored by Faris Jumaa in the 45th minute.
