A public auction for the sale of “abandoned goods” at the customs of King Fahd Airport in Dammam…and 5 controls for attendance

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority revealed the establishment of a public auction for the sale of “abandoned goods” at the customs of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, according to the aforementioned controls and requirements.

The Zakat Authority stipulated, through its official account on the “Twitter” website, 5 controls to enter the public auction, which is scheduled to be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, which are:

Paying a mandatory insurance amount of (50,000) fifty thousand riyals by certified check in the name of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Pay the full value immediately after awarding the auction.

The buyer must take out the goods and pay the quest commission from the total value of the sold within (3) days for the import fee, and (10) days for the goods as the export fee, and a floor fee will be calculated in the event that the permissible period is exceeded and then offered for sale again.

Pay the pursuit commission of 15% of the total purchase value at a rate of 2.5%, in addition to the value-added tax on the pursuit commission of 15%.

Pre-registration with customs is required to attend the auction.
