A Sunity 850W solar kit + Zendure 1kWh battery for only €1,799 this weekend!

If you are looking for a solar panel + battery solution, this offer from Sunity is really not to be missed this weekend!

On the occasion of Black Friday, the French company is offering a complete kit at an unbeatable price (see all the details below):

The Zendure AB1000 battery

If you follow our various articles around plus&play solar solutions, whether at Sunology, Beem, or even Sunethic you know that the aim of these kits allows you to cancel your consumption bill, and even beyond from a certain power.

The problem is that it is often complicated to consume everything and it is a shame to send power back into the network for free. Zendure offers an Anker SOLIX style battery which is inserted between the panel and the inverter – in short, it acts as a buffer. It is thus possible to store electricity during the day and release it in the evening when there is no more sun – we no longer lose a single electron!

Unlike Anker, Zendure has separated the intelligence and the battery, which allows several accumulators to be stacked with the same case. And in the absence of electronics, each module has a potentially longer lifespan.

Finally, each Zendure module has 1kWh under LFP chemistry. But above all, the number of cycles is 6000 (as with Anker), which makes it possible to reduce the cost of the stored kWh to around 15/16 cents maximum, well below the electricity rate.

We will come back to this in more detail during the test, but if it is a second solar kit, I recommend at least 1kWh per panel for it to be interesting. With 850W, 1 kWh will be filled in less than an hour, and discharged very quickly on your network (200W for 5 hours only)… If this is your first kit, 1kWh will be enough and you can always add a second battery later!

The Sunity 425W Double Sided Solar Kit

Like most of its competitors, Sunity offers a large format solar panel with a footprint of approximately 1x2m.

The characteristics are among the best on the market with an efficiency of 21.8% and TOPCon N-Type Monocrystalline cells.

• Trina
• Double-Face Biverre Bifacial Technology
• 144 TOPCon N-Type Monocrystalline half-cells
• Front panel efficiency: 212.7W/m2
• Rear panel gain: between 5% and 30%, i.e. a total power of up to 552W
• 87.4% power guaranteed for 30 years

On the inverter side, Sunity chose a 400W Hoymiles model with peaks up to 540W, which is more than sufficient for this type of panel.

• Todaymiles
• Yield 99.8% MPPT
• Certified IP67 protection rating (Dust and immersion)
• Rated power: 400W
• Module up to 540W

It is possible to connect several kits together, to avoid having to have multiple extension cables. For this, each inverter has several connectors, allowing you to connect up to 4 kits in total.

Connected socket and aluminum structure

The kit obviously comes with an aluminum structure, which can be hung on a wall or placed on a terrace/balcony/garden provided there is enough space.

We have not yet been able to test the installation, but the manufacturer assures that it can be done in less than 10 minutes. The feet are sturdy but everything will have to be ballasted to avoid being caught in the wind. Still plan to be two people for installation, because the pallet weighs more than 30Kg, and the panels are quite heavy to handle alone.

The connection is made in a simple electrical outlet, without the need for an electrician. For monitoring, Sunity is currently using a connected socket, but an in-house solution is already in development. The inverter is therefore not connected directly to your WiFi, which allows the panel to be placed far from the terminals.

Big discount with our promo code

While waiting for our full test, you can already take advantage of our promo code to get this kit at the best price.

If a kit is often sufficient to cover your consumption bill (see our article), I advise you to take at least 2 panels if you have some heavy equipment such as an air conditioning/heat pump, a swimming pool (pump, PaC) or a large number of devices permanently plugged in (terminals, Starlink etc.), which quickly increases your electrical background noise.

If you have an electric car, you will need to switch to higher powers, at least 2 to 3kWp, or 4/5 panels minimum to have good output during sunny days.
