The global version of the Realme GT 2 will have a Snapdragon 888 processor!

After it was announced in China, Realme recently confirmed that it is preparing to launch the Realme GT 2 series in the global market during the coming period.

The series consists of two smartphones which are Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro and recently the standard model was spotted on GeekBench with Snapdragon 888 SoC.

Realme GT 2 with model number RMX3311 scored 1,127 in the single core performance test and 3,355 in the multi core test.

Although we are not sure what processor chip used in the Realme GT 2, these benchmark results suggest that the processor used here is the Snapdragon 888 SoC which last year achieved the same results in performance benchmarks on the GeekBench platform.

The processor has one core clocked at 2.84GHz, three cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and four low-power cores clocked at 1.80GHz.

A 12GB RAM has been detected, and the phone will run Android 12 and above the custom Realme UI 3.0 interface. It is worth noting that the phone was spotted on the SDPPI website which did not reveal anything vital other than the phone model number RMX3311.

The phone has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate of 20:9 FHD+ resolution with an in-display fingerprint scanner with a peak brightness of 1,300 dots of light.

The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and for photography it has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and on the front there is a 16MP lens.

The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 65W fast wired charging technology, which allows the phone to be charged to 100% in just 33 minutes, but there is no support for wireless charging technology or reverse charging.

We do not know what the official launch date of the phone will be, but we are supposed to be close to seeing it in action soon.
