Content creator Zyro has discovered a new “DMR 2.0” meta with MW3’s MTZ Interceptor, capable of dealing incredible damage in Warzone.

The launch of Modern Warfare 3 brought a new wave of weapons for CoD players to use, with the end goal being to prepare for the game’s integration into Warzone.

The arrival of Season 1 introduced this long-awaited integration, and immediately, players were looking to see which weapons would dominate the meta.

MW3 multiplayer heavyweights like the MCW, Rival-9, and Holger 556 were fans’ first choices, but soon another weapon caught players’ eyes due to its similarity to a weapon that dominated the Battle Royale meta for an era.

Warzone player and content creator Zyro has discovered what could be the start of the DMR 2.0 meta in Warzone.

In a short video, he shows MW3’s tactical rifle, the MTZ Interceptor, shredding training dummies.

Looking at the Interceptor, it’s probably the most broken weapon in the game right now” Zyro begins in the video. “We have three plates. This thing literally kills in two headshots.

He then showed off how horrifyingly this weapon melts training dummies, giving Warzone veterans flashbacks of the original Black Ops Cold War DMR meta.
