The artist, George Al-Rassi, has a single son, “Joe”, from his ex-wife, the Lebanese model, Joel Hatem. He has a loving relationship with his child, as he always talked about him in his television interviews, and sang with him at one of his concerts.

He was also publishing more than one picture with his only child, “Joe”, and expressed his great love for him, and among the published picture was a picture in which George was shown carrying his son and wrote: “I live in Karmalik.”

It is noteworthy that George Al-Rassi was killed at dawn on Saturday in a traffic accident in the Bekaa region, east of Lebanon, on the border with Syria, and a woman who was accompanying him in the car also died.

Al-Rassi died when his car hit a median barrier in the Masnaa locality, at the point separating the Lebanese and Syrian borders, while he was coming from the Syrian border, according to the National News Agency.
