On the occasion of the sad first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we will return to this conflict. A year following the start of what Moscow still calls a special operation, fighting continues in eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Bakhmout region. On the diplomatic side, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops. Kyiv hailed a strong signal of solidarity with Ukraine.
