The woman did not file a complaint, but reported the incident to BBC management in 2019, without any official action being taken.

A woman accused British actor Russell Brand of revealing intimate parts of his body to her in 2008, joining a series of women who have made accusations of sexual harassment against the British actor and comedian.

The woman told the BBC that she was working in a building housing the British Corporation’s offices in Los Angeles when the incident occurred, and that Brand spoke about the matter sarcastically shortly after on his radio show.

The woman did not file a complaint, but she reported the incident to BBC management in 2019, without taking any official action.

The woman told the TV channel, “I feel ashamed, but more importantly, I question whether doing something then would have reduced the number of women who were subjected to terrible things at his hands, as we read in the newspapers now.”

A joint investigation conducted by The Times, The Sunday Times and Britain’s Channel 4 published on Saturday accusations leveled against Russell Brand by four women of rape, sexual assault and psychological abuse.

Russell Brand (48 years old) denies the accusations, which their accusers said occurred between 2006 and 2013, noting that his relationships were always “consensual.”

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s official spokesman described these allegations as “extremely serious and disturbing,” adding that Sunak “made clear that there should never be room for harassment anywhere.”

Bluebird Publishing House, which was intending to publish a book signed by Russell Brand at the end of this year, announced the suspension of “all future publications” with the comedian, while the YouTube video platform canceled the circulation of its content.
