A 41-year-old woman ended her life after she suddenly threw herself in front of the metro wheels at the Zaitoun Gardens station on the first subway line.
For his part, Ahmed Abdel Hadi Bakir, the official spokesman for the first and second metro lines, confirmed that a woman named “Shahd”, born in 1981, suddenly threw herself in front of the wheels of the train at the Zaytoun Gardens station towards Helwan, which led to her death immediately, as the train conductor was unable to Stop before hitting the front of the train.
“Bakir” added to “The Seventh Day”, that the body was removed from the bars and transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital, and a report on the incident was issued by the police for the prosecution to undertake the inspection and investigations, and the metro movement was resumed after it stopped for approximately 6 minutes.
